ABERDEEN residents are cleaning up after a thunderstorm brought down power lines and sheared countless limbs from trees on Thursday afternoon.
The storm lasted little more than 15 minutes and put 10 millimetres in rain gauges, but it was long enough to splice off the huge limb of a gum tree in Perth Street.
NSW Fire and Rescue's Aberdeen brigade attended the scene after receiving a call for assistance at 5.56pm.
